The Story Behind the Design

“I don’t know who I’m becoming yet, but she’s definitely weirder.”

Getting older has made me less interested in becoming who I thought I was supposed to be and MUCH more curious about who I actually am.

This design is for that weird little in-between era. When you’re changing, experimenting, questioning old rules, and realizing you might actually like yourself better when you let yourself get a little weirder.

I started with an archival black-and-white heraldic goat illustration sourced from Century Library, then drew over and altered the original artwork to make her my own.

I paired her with custom typography and composition because she felt like the perfect mascot for becoming a little stranger, more confident, and more yourself.

The finished design was created entirely by a human. No generative AI was used.
